Sitedrive login now comes with a possibility to take SSO (single sign-on) to use for all users in your company.
SSO means you no longer log into Sitedrive manually. Instead, login is done by entering just your email address in the login screen – no password is needed. The system automatically identifies the ending of your email address when you’re logged into your company system (like Intranet and the like).
Deployment of SSO not only makes logging in easier, but also improves your Sitedrive data security. Thanks to the company-wide system, access rights are always up-to-date and, for example, if a user leaves your company, their access gets removed within the system. In addition, Sitedrive users have needed to separately register into Sitedrive until now, but with SSO, it’s possible to add your company users directly to projects. Along with that, you can also directly grant them the site manager role.
SSO in the mobile app
There is also a new version of the Sitedrive mobile app with SSO included. The change doesn’t require separate logging out and back in, but instead, the system handles the SSO login itself. Please make sure that you’re using the latest Sitedrive mobile version, and update to the newest version if your phone doesn’t do it automatically.
